It does a great job of differentiating between people I know, people I don’t know, and non people. I love that you can set different alerts for different situations. For example, I have mine alert me about people I do not know only when I am not home. An excellent feature!

Best outdoor camera!
I have lot of Nest products. They are amazing and this Nest Cam IQ Outdoor did not disappoint me. Exceptional sound quality and picture clarity. The set up is very easy. The customer service is excellent. They take time to explain and make sure that the customer understand the product well before they buy. Keep up the good work, Nest!

Great camera.
I bought this camera in an effort to monitor my vehicles and monitor who comes and goes from my property. I got the IQ outdoor because of the zoom capability and picture clarity. I have been impressed thus far (2 months in) with the camera and am even looking for more cameras to monitor the other parts of my residence.
