Who We Are
Founded in 2011, Emotion extended our distribution business from United States to Hong Kong. Today, Emotion has grown to over 100 authorised resellers and over 300 selling points. Over the past years, Emotion has gained the loyalty of Hong Kong customers and received good reputation on our quality after-sales services, which further establishes our reputable brand image.
As a market leader, Emotiontech has always introduced innovative and exciting new gadgets to customers. In 2015, Emotiontech online store was launched, encompassing new electronics gadgets and toys to exceed customer expectations and better serve our customers. In 2018, our products are selling in Fortress and Suning giving customer a hands on customer experience in new shop.
Our History
2019
Showroom starts services from June 2019. Due to continuous demand of product demonstration, we have decided to move to a place near MTR and close to CBD. Office moved to Ford Glory Plaza, Lai Chi Kwok. This is a space with 2343 sq ft. with modern and contemporary design. Customers are able to hands on try out our products in a comfortable area.
2018
2018 is one of our fruity years, as we expanded our distribution not limited to computer centres, apple reseller and book store. We partnered with telecom company, Smartone, PCCW and HKT and electronics chain store, Fortress and Suning. With the help of our partners, we now reached 300 selling points in Hong Kong and Macau.
2017
We continued with our passion to source innovation brands. In 2017, we carried over 10 brands, including Amazon, Google, Nvidia, Nest, Omron, Oculus, August, BOOX etc. In the same year, we became the authorized distributor of Onyx Boox ereader.
2016
In 2016, we became the authorized distributor of Airtame – a cross-platform streaming dongle. It is the winner of Best of CES 2014. Airtame provides a wireless solution to replace traditional cable wiring. It supports Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
2015
In 2015, E-commerce emerged, we built an online store for customer easily order online and ship to your door directly. We provide Hong Kong and Macau free shipping with any amount.
2014
Thanks for highly praised and appreciated by our customers, in 2014, our distribution network reached over 100 retail points, including 3 major computer centres, IFC, Pacific Place, and book stores, Swindon, Lingkee and Bookazine.
2013
In 2013, we moved to One Midtown, Tsuen Wan, new office, with more space and fabulous sea view, we work with more passion. In 2014, we opened Wanchai and Mongkok repair centre to ease the needs of Kowloon and HK Island customers. Customers no longer need to come to Tsuen Wan to get repair service.
2012
From 2012 to present, every year, we holds a booth to display Amazon Kindle in Hong Kong Book Fair. We help customers to solve technical problems, giving advisory, and introduce new products. It is an excellent chance for us to communicate with end users face to face.
2012
In 2012, we introduced Amazon Kindle, Eye-Fi Wireless SD Card, Apple TV, Nike Fuelband… Customers were very exited to be having these innovative products. By the end of 2012, we became the sole distributor of Trek Flu-card (World 1st Wi-Fi SD Card).
2011
Emotiontech started business in 2011 at Kowloon Building, Yau Ma Tei, in a tiny office with a team of 4. We love gadgets, like many HongKongers do, so we would like to introduce them to Hong Kong.
